Cooking Pizza in an old woodburning cookstove.
Maybe someone somewhere will find this interesting. If not, at least it’s short.
The stove is a Bridge Beach & Co. No. 188 made in St. Louis Mo.

    I’m glad you …
I’m glad you enjoyed it. We cook alot on it during the summer months to avoid heating up the house with the kitchen range. The oven works great-like a convection oven because it heats on all sides, top and bottom, and food doesn’t dry out since it’s sealed in once you close the door.

    This brought back …
This brought back some old memories. We had a “Superior” cast iron wood burning stove for much of the time I was growing up. It had a thermometer built into the door, but didn’t have the gas burners that yours does. Thanks – this was fun to watch. :-) )
