I’ve got a wood stove that comes up through the downstairs chimney. When the stove is not on, I can feel cold air coming through the fireplace. I assume they took the flew off when they installed the stove. Is it normal to have cold air come through the chimney or did they not seal or insulate/install the stove properly. Our stove usually isn’t on, and the cold air coming though the chimney makes the room extra cold. I wish I never got a wood stove now.
